ShawnMorgan.com is a website, a blog, and a story about moving on and finding happiness. It is here to help both myself and you to gain a better understanding of the opportunities in life that do not revolve around having a Boss and a job, where a job is defined as something that you do just because you have to do it to make money.
This site will help me, and hopefully you, to find new ways to look at life, relationships, and work. By sharing my experiences with you, I hope that it will help both of us to make decision that will increase our health, happiness, and personal financial freedom. Call it “Personal Development”, “Life Skills”, or “just a new way to look at things”.

 Who is Shawn Morgan? Minimize

Shawn Morgan is an X-Employee (or Associate, or Resource, or whatever words people in large companies use to describe the people doing all of the work) of various Fortune 500 companies.  He has had many X-Managers who directed his daily life from 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday, and sometimes on Saturday and Sunday.  As an Information Technology (read "computers") Architect, he was "successful" in his job, where success is decided by the title you hold, and the raises that you get either once or twice a year.

After 13 years of having a Boss, Shawn is now living boss-free, directing his own life, making his own decisions, and doing what he wants to do.   This is the key to living a happy, healthy life. 

This website is Shawn's attempt to help both himself and you to grow into a healthier, happier, financially independent individual.  This site will attempt to shed the myth that corporate culture has created, that you must work for someone else, when they want you to, how they want you to, so that the owners of the company can make all the money while the employees live above their means and scrape by on the once or twice a year raises the owners of the company deam are approprate.

So I encourage you to follow Shawn's blog as he makes the move from under the thumb of corporate managers, and into a world where he is truly Living Boss-Free!!
